BIG MERINO LOOKOUT IS OPEN

After the 2007 move the Big Merino lookout was closed to the public as it did not comply with council safety regulation. In the past 3 years there have been many disappointed travellers, children and adults a like, so it is with a great deal of pleasure that we can now invite you to come and take the trip to the top. So what ever your reason come and visit us soon!

NEW SEASONS KNITWEAR IN STORE NOW

The Big Merino currently has the best range of knitwear ever. Apart from our amazing garments we have beautiful pure wool scarves to colour your winter, and this winter it is absolutely all about colour. Our extensive range of quality sheepskin ugg boots are also attracting a lot of attention.

We aim to supply our overseas and local visitors with the best quality products made from fine Australian merino wool presented by knowledgeable, friendly staff and old fashioned service.

Our range includes a diverse collection of luxurious merino possum knitwear, soft Australian made alpaca and mohair throws, a beautiful collection of pure wool scarves, cosmetics and lanolin products, souvenirs items and much more.

Australian Wool Innovations has a permanent exhibition on the 200 Year History of Wool in Australia displayed under the giant ram. From the exhibition visitors are able to take a trip to the top to view Goulburn from Rambo’s eyes.
