BIG MERINO LOOKOUT IS OPEN

After the 2007 move the Big Merino lookout was closed to the public as it did not comply with council safety regulation. In the past 3 years there have been many disappointed travellers, children and adults a like, so it is with a great deal of pleasure that we can now invite you to come and take the trip to the top. So what ever your reason come and visit us soon!

History & relocation of The Big Merino Goulburn NSW Australia

The new gift shop opened on the 5th December 2007. As part of the reconstruction and the new orientation Rambo gained 3 legs. The remodelling, carried out by Marshall Judd, has resulted in a more complete free-standing model than in the previous location.

A full length DVD video of the BIG move is now available.  The video also features shearing footage on a working sheep station as well as the history of wool in Australia.
